(Strangely enough, every version I’ve found other than the NET Bible, which is what I’m recording, requires the payment of some form of royalty for distribution. I find this strange, given whose words they are. )

You’re right about memorization. That’s something I’ve done for drama in general, but I’ve noted that my memory of Matthew 5-7 is dramatically better having worked on this a bit. – Tim

I also recorded myself saying individual Bible verses and used them on my iPod when driving, mowing the lawn, etc. to help memorize them. It worked really well.

Thanks. Yes, as I have the time, I’ll probably work my way back and hit chapters 1-4 first, and then we’ll see where it goes. I’ll post the links here as well as the church web site (ph-church.org).

It doesn’t take a ton of time to do, as I’m able to clean up a few minor gonks in Adobe Audition pretty quickly. What I’d like to do is see if I can rearrange my schedule to have me in the office about 15 minutes early every day. That would give me time to knock out a chapter a day. – Tim
