I survived the Mini-Marathon! Though my time was worse than last year, it was better than I had expected (I averaged approximately 9:55/mile pace), given how little I’ve been able to train and that I’m about 15 lbs heavier than I was a year ago.
All in all, I’m happy to have finished, to have pushed myself, but to have not pushed too hard.
Now if you’ll excuse me, my 45 year-old legs need a serious nap!

Unfortunately, my calves are in serious pain. I’m glad I did it, but good golly I need to train more next time!
