Last night, our church did a spoof of “American Idol,” and I was asked to play the part of Simon, the almost-always negative judge. I put on my best British accent, came up with a list of hateful and horrible things to say, and played my part to the hilt.
By the end of the show, they were booing me every time I started to speak (which I think was the goal). I’ve never enjoyed being boo’d before, but now, I think I like it! 😀
