Such is the scene along my commute and outside my office on the morning after a Kentucky ice storm.
Lovely! I thought the woods would be thawed by today, but instead every twig on every tree is still covered in its icy sheath. I stood outside earlier and listened and watched as, in all directions, little cascades of just-thawed ice fell to the ground. It was magical, but also fun, because it made my two retriever dogs happily crazy as they tried to fetch all the things nature was throwing for them. 🙂
Great stuff, Tim – so glad you stopped to – well, not eactly smell the roses – but at least capture them. Existence is beautiful, isn’t it.
Those damn Kentucky ice storms! Makes for beautiful pictures, but they always take my electricity!
